Vic Sage has taken control of the team, making some changes he sees necessary but Deadshot still keeps his place. Deadshot was captured after being attacked by Batman while he was trying to assassinate a senator in Gotham City. He was on death row and Belle Reve prison when the opportunity to join the Suicide Squad arose.
